Short statement: Orquídea Coelho is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP), Portugal, and a researcher at the Centre for Research and Intervention in Education (CIIE). She holds a PhD in Education since October 2007 and she has been leading the Portuguese team of international collaborative research: e.g. PROFACITY – Profane Citizenship in Europe (European Commission’s FP7 – 225511, 2008-2011); several editions of Spread the Sign Multilingual Online Sign Language Dictionary’s project (European Commission: i) 526361-LLP-2012-SE-LEONARDO-LNW, 2012-2015; ii) 2013-1-SE1-LEO04-15625 13, 2013-2015; iii) LLP-Ldv/TOI/SE/08/1204, 2008-2010; iv) SE/06/B/F/LA-161015, d-nr4738-2005, 2006-2008).
